Surtecs Products & Services

Fitzpatrick Tongue Depressors

Fitzpatrick contoured tongue guards, as well as retractors, are manufactured to order in our Glynde workshop.

Available are types 1, 2, 3 and 4 for oral and dental surgeries. Manufactured from surgical-grade non-magnetic stainless steel, these guards are bead-blasted to a smooth matte finish for comfort, or polished to a medium shine upon request.

Needle Holder Reconditioning

We recondition all types of needle holders, replacing carbide inserts, tightening pivots and resetting the ratchet mechanism, giving new life to this ubiquitous surgical tool and saving the cost of purchasing new. Modifications can be made to individual instruments or a set upon request. Call or email for further enquiries.

Sharpening Services

We can sharpen most instruments with a cutting edge - surgical scissors, skin hooks, osteotomes, micro eye instruments, biopsy forceps, curettes, rongeurs, clippers and more. Please call if you have an item not listed.

Arthroscopic Instruments

Laser Engraving

Using state-of-the-art CO2 laser technology, we can now provide a range of etching and engraving services in conjunction with our other work, and we're excited to explore the possible use cases.
